Public Works Projects
Indian River County Septic to Sewer Phase 2 Project
The North County Septic to Sewer project, Phase 2 is a $4 million project that provides water and sewer service to 358 residential properties in Northern Indian River County. This project consists of approximately 18,000 feet of water main, 14,000 feet of sewer, a pumping station and related restoration improvements. This project resulted in a major reduction of pollution discharging into the Saint Sebastian River and Indian River Lagoon.
Lakewood Park Water System
The Lakewood Park Water System project provided water distribution and fire protection to approximately 4000 residential dwellings. Specifically, the project consists of 300,000 lineal feet of 6”,8” and 12” water mains constructed in the streets rights-of-way with approximately 250 fire hydrants.
North Hutchinson Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion
An award-winning project. The North Hutchinson waste water treatment plant expansion was awarded the FWEA David W. York Water Reuse Award.
This project consisted of the conversion of the existing triplex master lift station pumps from constant to variable speed. The removal and replacement of existing mechanical aerators and the installation of a new system of recycle mixed liquid suspended solid pumps.
In addition, Masteller & Moler converted (2) existing rectangular tanks into final clarifiers and added (2) new disc filters for tertiary treatment.
The project also included the construction of additional storage tanks, new duplex covered aerobic digesters, new building for electrical control equipment, a small laboratory, improvements to the odor control system and new paving, landscaping and lighting to make the project complete and ready for operation.
Private Development Projects
Indian River Club
“Indian River Club” is a 295-acre planned development golf course community containing 355 residential units surrounding an 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse built over numerous phases. Masteller & Moler performed civil engineering design, permitting, and construction observation services for the project for the golf course stormwater management system as well as project streets, stormwater conveyance, wastewater, and potable systems within several of the residential communities within the site.
Pointe West
“Pointe West” is a 603-acre golf course community containing 1,199 residential units surrounding an 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse built over multiple phases. Masteller & Moler performed civil engineering design and permitting services for the project for the golf course stormwater management system as well as most of the project streets, stormwater conveyance, wastewater, and potable systems.
Millstone Landing
“Millstone Landing” is a 320-acre Conceptual Planned Development project containing 613 single-family residential lots and clubhouse amenity built over six phases. Masteller & Moler performed conceptual planning, civil engineering design, permitting, and construction observation services for the project for the project streets, stormwater management systems, wastewater, and potable systems.
Institutional Projects
IRMC Health & Wellness Center
IRMC Health & Wellness Center is a 70,000 sf 3-Story Medical Center developed on the Indian River Hospital Campus on which Masteller & Moler performed the site civil engineering designs, permitting, and construction observation services for the project’s supporting paved parking, stormwater conveyance, wastewater and potable water systems.
Indian River County Administrative Complex
Indian River County Administrative Complex consisted of the construction of a 170,000 square foot administrative office complex construction on which Masteller & Moler performed the civil engineering design, permitting, and construction observation services. Designs included demolition & utility adjustments along with paved parking, stormwater management, wastewater, and potable water systems.
Saint Edward’s School Consolidation project
Saint Edward’s School Consolidation project involved the merging of the school’s Lower School into the Middle / Upper School campus. Masteller & Moler performed the civil engineering design, permitting, and construction observation services for substantial modifications to the site’s supporting parking, stormwater management, wastewater, and potable water systems.
